Prince Archie
Prince Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, born May 6, 2019, in London, is the first child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. His birth was shortly followed by his younger sister, Princess Lilibet, on June 4, 2021. This makes Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet cousins to Princess Charlotte, Prince George and Prince Louis. Although Archie was not titled a Prince when he was born, according to the 1917 Letters Patent established by King George V, his title changed following King Charles’ coronation when his granddad ascended to the throne. The young royal is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne, with his sister following in seventh place. His fourth birthday also fell on the same day as his grandfather’s coronation.
In 2019, the Sussexes took Prince Archie on a tour of Malawi, Angola, South Africa and Botswana.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are currently raising their children in Montecito, California.
