Scouts from various clubs will be in attendance to watch all 18 free agents in action.

It is part of the PFA's initiative to help unemployed players find a new club for the 2024-25 season.

This summer the organisation put on a ten-week training camp specifically for free agents to ensure they are prepared for the upcoming campaign.

Several players - including Offrande Zanzala and Omar Bogle - have already found clubs.

But those yet to seal a deal will have another chance to impress against Cambridge United.

It will be the final match before the training camp officially concludes.

Football fans were stunned after realising who was on the squad list.

One person took to X to write: "How are some of these lads without a club? Good luck to all."

Changes to the Premier League for 2024/25

NOTHING stays the same forever.

And that includes the Premier League, which is making a number of tweaks this season.

Team news will now be released 75 MINUTES before kick-off, 15 minutes earlier than had been the case before.

Things could get crowded on the touchline, with the number of substitutes permitted to warm-up boosted from three players per team to FIVE.

There's also a change to how added time is calculated when a team scores a goal, an update to the 'multiball' system and the introduction of semi-automated offsides - but not straight away.

Another commented: "Some good players there."

While a third said: "Good luck lads I hope the right team for you comes along soon."

Former Manchester United midfielder Morrison has been without a club since leaving DC United last year.

Meanwhile, ex-Arsenal right-back Jenkinson left Australian A-League side Newcastle Jets at the end of his contract this summer and is yet to be offered a new deal anywhere else.

Ex-Newcastle and Crystal Palace star Dwight Gayle is also in the squad, having been a free agent since his short-term deal with Derby County expired.
