A MORRISONS customer has sparked a fierce debate after discovering a whole aisle filled with Christmas treats, despite it being August.
Although the festive season is still months away, that hasn't stopped some retailers from already stocking their aisles with Christmas essentials.
Much to the horror of one shopper, Kerri Hedley-Cheney, festive treats, including chocolate Santa, have now made an official return at Morrisons.
Horrified, Kerri took to TikTok to share the news with fellow social media users - however, the discovery left people divided, as not everyone was mad to see the festive theme in August.
''So, I'm just walking through Morrisons to get my mum a couple of bits, and I have never been left more depressed by something in my life.
''Look,'' the mortified customer said, before showing the shelves that were full to the brim with Christmas treats and sweets.

''I mean, f**k off,'' Kerri said, reminding that it was still ''four months til Christmas'' in the caption.
Amongst the items she spotted in the aisle included a range of mince pies, numerous boxes of chocolate to share with your family and friends and delicious biscuits to enjoy with a warm cuppa or hot chocolate.
''In what universe is this f***ing acceptable? It's f***ing August.''
The shopper, whose video has since taken the platform by storm, added: ''Inclined to think they should be shoving those where the sun doesn't f***ing shine.''

Kerri, who posts under the username @kerricheney, also showed viewers the glorious weather outside, with lovely blue skies and fabulous sunshine.
''I'm just gonna say, calm the f**k down, Morrisons,'' she desperately urged the supermarket to wait a little longer until stocking up for Christmas.
The actress, who dubbed the move ''absolutely appalling'', agreed that for retailers it's ''all about money''.
''Sunshine and summer is joy! Christmas is commercialism.''
Despite Christmas still being a while away, Kerri said she was already ''sick'' of seeing the festive bits in stores and urged shops to ''go back to basics''.
Since being shared on the platform, the clip has racked up more than 90k views in less than 24 hours, with numerous people sharing their thoughts - and there seemed to be a great debate.
One agreed with Kerri, writing: ''Drives me insane... by the time xmas come we are all sick of the sight of it..''
Another chimed in: ''I'm even annoyed that they are already selling Halloween stuff 2 months early!''
Is it too early for Christmas?
Some say it’s never too early for Christmas, and there are many reasons why.
For example, decorating your home can improve your mood by release dopamine, the feel-good hormone in your brain.
If you’re an early-bird shopper, shops stocking Christmas items may help you prepare, and cut the cost across several months.
You can also look out for bargains across several shopping events - for example, end of summer sale’s or Black Friday.
One of the best things about the festive season is eating lots of delicious seasonal meals and treats - enjoying your favourite beverages and tipples.
A third was just as baffled, writing: ''Christmas is 3 days why do we need 4 month build up.''
But not everyone shared the same view as Kerri, with one commenting: ''some people don't have a lot of money so the early the better to buy just little bits will help when the big day happens.''

''I love to browse Christmas- it’s not early. It’s normal. Get used to it,'' a third hit back at Kerri.
