QUEEN Elizabeth slammed Donald Trump for being "very rude" and believed he had an "arrangement" with wife Melania, a new book has claimed.

The late monarch met with ex-US President Trump twice during her reign.

Trump jetted over to attend a state banquet at Buckingham Palace and a gathering at Windsor Castle where he inspected the Guard of Honour.

While he described meeting Queen Elizabeth as one of the highlights of his time in office, a new biography alleges she only had words of "disapproval".

The sovereign is said to have "particularly disliked" it when Trump looked over her shoulder and found his and Melania's marriage bizarre.

The bold claims have been made by Craig Brown in his new book, A Voyage Around The Queen, as reported by MailOnline.

Brown wrote: "A few weeks after President Trump's visit, for instance, she confided in one lunch guest that she found him 'very rude'.

"She particularly disliked the way he couldn't stop looking over her shoulder, as though in search of others more interesting.

"She also believed President Trump 'must have some sort of arrangement' with his wife Melania, or else why would she have remained married to him?"

It comes after Trump shocked the world by walking ahead of Queen Elizabeth during his first state visit to Britain.

In a viral clip of the two at Windsor Castle in 2018, Trump awkwardly went ahead of the Queen before stopping right in front of her - making himself centre stage.

Grant Harrold, a former butler for the Royal Family, told ITV News at the time, letting the Queen lead in every scenario is one of the most important rules.

One year later, Trump broke protocol again during a meal at Buckingham Palace.

In snaps from the evening, he looked to put his left hand on the late reign’s back as she stood up after his speech.

Official royal rules dictate that in order to be able to touch the monarch, they need to have offered their hand to you first.

Buckingham Palace has been contacted for comment.

Trump is currently seeking re-election as President after shocking scenes which saw him take a bullet.

Trump boasted the Queen ‘never had so much fun’

DURING his three-day trip in 2019, which involved a state banquet at Buckingham Palace, Donald Trump said he got on famously with Queen Elizabeth.

Speaking to a US news channel, he said: “I have such a great relationship, and we were laughing and having fun.

"And her people said she hasn't had so much fun in 25 years.

“Then I got criticised for it because they said we were having too much fun.”

Trump later heralded her as an “incredible lady”.

He said: “I feel I know her so well and she certainly knows me very well right now, but we have a very good relationship also with the United Kingdom.”
