CELEBS Go Dating’s Helen Flanagan has been growing close to a new man, a former footballer called Robbie Talbot.
But that hasn’t stopped her appearing on the dating show, as I can reveal bosses have helped cover up her secret relationship with the ex-Morecambe and Burton Albion striker.
When the former Corrie actress confessed to E4 execs, they were so desperate to keep her that he has now been included in the series.
That comes despite her already having kissed a date called Luke.
Sources on the show, which follows a group of single celebrities looking for love, say Robbie has been seen on set filming alongside Helen.
The fakery makes a mockery of the long-running series, as Helen has spoken about her dating struggle — after splitting with former Aston Villa and Celtic footballer Scott Sinclair — to promote the show.

A source said: “Helen tried to keep the relationship under wraps because of Celebs Go Dating.
“But that’s become difficult as their feelings have grown for each other. It came to a head when she was quizzed by the dating agents about why she was failing to pursue connections on the show.
“The one rule of CGD is stars must be single.
“But E4 bosses were desperate to keep her, so found a way to write Robbie into the show.

“Sources on set have seen him filming alongside Helen. While it’s not known how E4 will justify the fakery, viewers will feel they’re trying to pull the wool over their eyes.”
A Celebs Go Dating spokesperson said: “During the filming of Celebs Go Dating, the executive producers discovered that Helen Flanagan was in a relationship outside of the CGD process. Once this came to light, Helen was asked to be transparent with the agents and her fellow celebrities during her next filming day. As per the show’s guidelines, all participating celebrities must be single. After discussing the situation, it was decided that Helen and her partner, Robbie, would meet with the agents to assess their compatibility, and Helen would no longer date members of the public. These developments will be featured on the show starting from episode 10.”
Helen went public with Robbie at her birthday party on August 10, with pals saying she is “smitten”.
It comes two years after a “messy” split from ex-fiancé Scott, who she was with for 13 years and has three children with.
Emily’s Ready to Rome
Emily and her pals will need a new language-learning app as their Netflix romcom heads out of the French capital and into Italy next month.
The second instalment of Emily in Paris’ fourth series is about to drop at long last. In it, Emily Cooper – played by Lily Collins – travels to the Alps with her fashionista friends.
It is the first time the cast has been seen enjoying a winter storyline, as well as a trip to Rome.
This time the central character is joined by Genevieve, played by Thalia Besson, another American employee recruited by the company to work with Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu’s Sylvie, plus Lucas Bravo as Gabriel and Camille Razat playing Camille.
Only time will tell if Emily prefers Paris or Rome.
The next episodes of Emily in Paris drop on September 12.
Time for a fresh Order
Rosie Jones will soon be joined by a whole new batch of famous faces on her Comedy Central panel show Out of Order.
The comedian launched the first series last year alongside team captains Judi Love and Katherine Ryan, and it proved a big success.
Now she will return with her panellist duo for a new series of the game, which tasks its celebrity guests with placing members of the public in the correct order in a series of categories that Rosie presents to them.
The six new episodes will include Babatunde Aleshe, Mike Wozniak, Scarlett Moffatt, Kerry Godliman, Chloe Petts, and Roisin Conaty. Fellow comedian Johnny Vegas will pick up the reins as guest captain for one episode.
Out of Order will air on Comedy Central from September 16.
Hollyoaks chiefs have confirmed it will be cut from five weekly episodes to three next month, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Fans can stream episodes before they are shown at 7pm on E4. Some dramatic twists are promised, including in the Frankie and JJ abuse saga.
Grealish is Matt’s angel
His performance on the pitch and wild antics off it have seen Jack Grealish become a hero to the Manchester City faithful.
But Matt Forde says the Premier League player is his “guardian angel” – despite him being a Nottingham Forest fan.
The comic told Russell Howard’s Wonderbox podcast that the City ace inadvertently helped him through surgery for spinal cancer last year. Matt said: “I was carved open from the front to attack the tumour and create a stoma, and then carved open at the back to carve out the base of my spine and tumour.
“The first few weeks were fine. I was in intensive care, I was high as a kite, and had really vivid dreams about Jack – like Technicolor.
“I don’t know if you’ve ever had morphine but it brings you Jack. He’d move around like he was in a Jackson Five video, flowers would bloom in his wake. Maybe he was my guardian angel.”
CBeebies will have a week of musical episodes in the lead-up to Radio 2 in the Park.
The Bedtime Stories takeover will see Scott Mills, Trevor Nelson, Vernon Kay, Jo Whiley, and Sara Cox appear from Monday. It ends on September 7 with a mega-mix of all presenters.
